Recording  your Announcement.

Press  ^ ^ ^ ^ (Base Station), Yes,  ^ until (AnswerMach), Yes ,^ ^ (RecAnnounce), yes,(Announc1), yes ,
   Dictate "I'm not here right now so please leave a message after the tone", Yes , CLR

Ensure Answer machine is ON (activated) using button on base or selecting through handset.

Playing Your Messages.

260 model Press play on base or on hset use ^ key to select (baseStation) , yes, ^ till (AnswerMach), ^ (Play mess), Yes.

Other Features,  Use ^ key to choose and Yes to select.

PhoneBook,  Store, Add new  Enter Name using key pad   ie 22 666 22  for BOB   use CLR to delete letters.
                       To quick dial  select Phone book and enter first part of name then yes, yes to dial.

Subscribing handsets to base.

Press Page on base for four seconds. (rightmost button),
On handset, Networks,  Subscribe.  Use 1111 for the AC code.  yes, CLR when done.

Pin code is 0000.  

Backdoor code is etched inside handset if it has an 'h' sticker.  This number (13 digits) can be found on the original box. If you have lost this the handset can be repaired (£9). Request info
