Windows is telling me that it is full but there is much more room available. You must place each 99 tracks into separate folders.

Turns on then straight off.  Check to see if you have formatted it FAT32. reformat FAT

Not playing some tracks. Either you have copied a link rather than a song, in which case the link will be about 1kb rather than 3000kb/3mb in size for a song. Or you have ripped a song and it is protected. If you move your mouse over the track it will state whether protection is on or off.

•  Load the $norfla$.ugr file onto the mp3.

•  Locate the Removable drive in My Computer, right click and select Eject  "F/W Updating appears"

• When the drive reappears in My Computer, right click and Select Format, select FAT rather than FAT32 then OK

• Load the $nanfla$.ugr file and Eject

• It will restart in Chinese language so press menu, right 4 times, menu, right 6 times then menu, select 3. Turn off to store

• The volume will be reversed but that is something you will have to live with.

To play .act (voice recorder) files on your computer, you will need this converter.

Starting...  

• This can occur when you have tried to re-install the firmware. There is a problem with the file that can be downloaded from www.mpmaneurope.com It works fine with all 256mb models but not with some of the 512mb ones.
• Firmware files that do work $nanfla$  $norfla$  right click and "save target as" (use at your own risk, but we have used these files over 100 times without any problems whatsoever) follow the same procedure as with the mpman's files. It will change the style etc and add some features. It will start with Chinese so press menu, right 4 times, menu, right 6 times then menu, select 3. Turn off to store. The volume + / - become reversed but this is only cosmetic, at least it works, those 'no-fathers' at mpman ought to be sued.Use the files on this site not the ones on www.mpmaneurope.net

The following faults can be fixed by us. There is no firmware available to put on yourself we have had to write our own to fix them and use special tools to install it.

• Screen broken

• Echo and odd sounding tracks.

• Says "starting ..." and nothing else

• Dead - sometimes the windows will sound a connecting 'bing bong' as soon as you plug it in.

Making a separate folder: Open the removable drive window, with the mouse in the blank white area, right click the select new followed by new folder.
